South Downs Dark Skies Festival
Friday 15th February saw another great public event in partnership with Bury CofE School. We also had Bignor Roman Villa and Dark Skies Dan from South Downs National Park along to provide great talks and information relating to all things astronomical. We had lots of members turn out with their telescopes and the school provided hot drinks to keep the cold at bay. It was a busy evening with plenty of keen visitors all wanting a close up peak at the Moon and Orion nebula to name just two major objects you could see. We really love doing these events, it is a great chance to share what we do and what can be seen in our night skies. Keep a check on our events page for more public engagements throughout the year.
